- Check-in
- From 15:00. You get a personal entry code and room key by text message the day before arrival.
- Late arrival
- Arriving after 22:00 because of a late match? Let us know and we will sort it out.
- Check-out
- By 10:00. If you need to leave your bags while you watch the final, that is fine — just tell us on arrival.
- Reception
- There is no staffed reception around the clock. You can reach us by phone throughout your stay.
In the room
- Bed linen and towel
- Included in the price and laid out when you arrive.
- Cleaning
- The room is cleaned before you arrive. For stays longer than a week we clean once a week.
- TV and wifi
- TV with basic channels in the room. Free wifi throughout the property, with no fiddly login.
- Keys
- Every room locks with its own key, and the entrance has a keypad lock.
Kitchen and shared spaces
- The kitchen
- Each corridor has a kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave, kettle and dining table. Crockery and pans are provided.
- Your own fridge
- Every room has its own lockable fridge and its own cupboard for food and kitchenware.
- Shower and toilet
- Two showers and two toilets per corridor, shared between four and six rooms.
- Lounge and entrance hall
- Seating in the entrance hall where your group can gather without disturbing the corridor.
House rules
- Quiet hours
- Quiet in the house between 22:00 and 07:00. Many of our guests have an early match.
- Smoking
- The whole property is non-smoking. Smoking takes place outdoors in the designated area.
- Children
- Children of all ages are welcome, and they stay in the same room as you.
- Damage
- Whoever makes the booking is responsible for the room during the stay. For team bookings that is the coach named as contact.
Payment and cancellation
- Invoice to the club
- Clubs and companies can be invoiced in one go. Give us the organisation number when you book.
- Confirmation
- Your booking applies once you have received written confirmation from us.
- Cancellation
- Contact us as soon as you know — particularly for group bookings during events.
Frequently asked questions
Do you have rooms for four people?
Yes. Our family rooms sleep two to four people in the same room, with a bunk bed for the children. You pay per room per night, not per person.
How far is it to Arenastaden?
About 4.2 km, roughly seven minutes by car. Vida Arena, Fortnox Arena, Visma Arena and Telekonsult Arena are all located there.
Can we have breakfast early before a match?
Yes. We do not serve breakfast, but every corridor has a fully equipped kitchen you can use around the clock. Many of our guests are cooking porridge by six on match days.
Is there a charge for parking?
No. Parking outside the entrance is free and needs neither a ticket nor an app. There is also a locked bicycle store.
Are bed linen and towels included?
Yes, both are included in the price and laid out when you arrive.
Do the rooms have a private bathroom?
No. Each corridor has two showers and two toilets shared between four and six rooms. If you rent a whole corridor, they are yours alone.
Can the whole team stay together?
Yes. We rent entire corridors with their own kitchen and showers to teams, clubs and larger groups. Get in touch and we will put together a plan and a single invoice.
How do we check in if we arrive late?
The entrance has a keypad lock and you receive a personal code by text the day before arrival. Arriving after a late match is no problem — you do not need a staffed reception.
Is there wifi?
Yes, free wifi throughout the property.
Were you not called Skäraton before?
We were. Same house, same owners, but we have rebuilt for travelling families and we are now called Växjö Vandrarhem.
