No hotel breakfast opens at 06:00. Our kitchen does — because it is yours. Make porridge, fill the water bottles and pack snacks for the day.

What a sports weekend actually needs
Space for the kit
Sticks, goalkeeper bags, skates and wet match kit. The rooms have floor space and the corridors have room to hang things up — nothing has to spend the night in the car.
Free parking for the car and the bus
Parking outside the entrance with no fee and no reservation. If the team arrives by minibus, there is space for that too.
Seven minutes to Arenastaden
Vida Arena, Fortnox Arena, Visma Arena and Telekonsult Arena all sit together in Arenastaden — roughly 4 km and seven minutes by car from here.
One price for the room
You pay per room per night, not per person. Four people in a family room costs the same as two.

Team and group bookings
We are glad to take whole teams, clubs and groups that want to stay together. Tell us how many you are, which dates you need and whether you need an invoice to the club — we will come back with a proposal. Book whole corridors and you get your own kitchens and showers, plus one contact person for the entire stay.
Frequently asked questions
Do you have rooms for four people?
Yes. Our family rooms sleep two to four people in the same room, with a bunk bed for the children. You pay per room per night, not per person.
How far is it to Arenastaden?
About 4.2 km, roughly seven minutes by car. Vida Arena, Fortnox Arena, Visma Arena and Telekonsult Arena are all located there.
Can we have breakfast early before a match?
Yes. We do not serve breakfast, but every corridor has a fully equipped kitchen you can use around the clock. Many of our guests are cooking porridge by six on match days.
Is there a charge for parking?
No. Parking outside the entrance is free and needs neither a ticket nor an app. There is also a locked bicycle store.
Are bed linen and towels included?
Yes, both are included in the price and laid out when you arrive.
Do the rooms have a private bathroom?
No. Each corridor has two showers and two toilets shared between four and six rooms. If you rent a whole corridor, they are yours alone.
Can the whole team stay together?
Yes. We rent entire corridors with their own kitchen and showers to teams, clubs and larger groups. Get in touch and we will put together a plan and a single invoice.
How do we check in if we arrive late?
The entrance has a keypad lock and you receive a personal code by text the day before arrival. Arriving after a late match is no problem — you do not need a staffed reception.
Is there wifi?
Yes, free wifi throughout the property.
Were you not called Skäraton before?
We were. Same house, same owners, but we have rebuilt for travelling families and we are now called Växjö Vandrarhem.
